![]() Looking up some old friends that use to be in the Air Force. I dont know if any still read this board but giving it a shot. Looking for AF people that were stationed at Falcon AFB, aka Schriever AFB now. Between Aug 94 - Sep 00. You guys were the ones responsible in getting me hooked to this game. Stacy |

heh figured you'd beat the rush and just post this in R&F anyway? I'm ex USAF, never stationed near those places though. Spent half my career overseas, and the rest of it split between Vegas (Nellis AFB) and Spokane (Fairchild AFB) |

I was in Korea for a year at Osan AB, then went to Florida for 2 years at Eglin AFB. I transferred from there to Woomera, South Australia for 2 years. After Aussie land, I was stationed in Colorado Springs at Falcon AFB which was later called Schriever AFB. While at Schriever a friend got me and a couple others hooked into the game. Carmellion or some similar name, he was an enchanter. Followed by another friend Wegwal who turned into Mismort. Another friend was WarBreed who changed to Angelstear. All these guys were RL friend while I was stationed in Colo Spings. I was there from Aug 94 until Sept 2000 when I got out. Glad to see some people on here from military though. What was your AFSC? When I first came in I was under 276 which was Air Traffic Control / Weapons Controller. Then I got changed to a 277 which was Same thing but added any Space Surveillance / Tracking / Missile Warning. It later got changed to 2c5 and 2c6 respectfully. The 2 just separated again. I got stuck in the satellite portion. Very grateful for that, since I been working in the civialian sector for couple years now. |

I split my time between McGuire AFB, NJ and Clark AB, PI. Finished up the last little bit at Travis AFB, CA. That was '86 to '92 though, a bit before your time. |

Ex Air-Force 89-94, FE Warren AFB, Wyoming, not too far north of Falcon AFB. One of the few Air Force Bases without a runway... but we had a few MX missiles to make up for it. ![]() Bul |

Active AF here. Stationed at Holloman AFB, NM, Germany, Greely ANGS, CO (4 years guard), and back active at Robins AFB, GA. Originally a 309x0 Then changed to 2E4x1, and now the AF decided to combine us with SatComm to make use 2E1X1's. Good to see AF peeps around. Hell good to see any Military people around. Bulv you ever do a short TDY to the academy around 92 to show the cadets what you all did there? |

Hey Zik Adom here, Stacys other signon. Sorry for all the different names. Just that I got several computers and easier to log on with the name thats saved in IE's memory rather than having to back out, log off, log on and then back to this link. I was at Clark AB, PI in March 89 for 2 weeks. During the 2 week training thing "Team Spirit" think that was what it was called. Might have met but never knew it. Braken, the places you have been to are places I could have been sent too. You a Comm Tech? Anyways good to here from you as well. |

Yeah, I remember Team Spirit. That was a theatre wide exercise, wasn't it? I seem to remember people going tdy to Bangkok and Seoul during that one. I was an aircraft mech, used to be a 431x1b I think, can't remember what they changed it to. I worked on the heavies (C5, C141, C130, DC-8, 747, L10-11, etc...). |

![]() Well my wife and I are in the Air force. I've been in for 13+ now and Julie for 8+. I was a C-130E Instructor Loadmaster for 10 years as well as a Joint Airdrop Inspector (at Pope) but now I push MotherF'in pencils and do noy like it (medical re-train). I would MUCH rather gear up the chem gear, back packs, helmet bags and M9 when it is 130 degrees in the plane then SIT IN THIS GDAMN OFFICE :-) Julie works at AFPC and I get to work at good ole Lackland! Yea Baby! Mick /wave Bulvyne (still mad?) cya soon Emarr...Quis...hold me |

Brak, Nope, never went TDY. I was a 491X1, Comm Computer Operater/Specialist. Was a lot of fun. ![]() And just for the record, Cheyenne Wyoming is a MUCH different place (and location) than Cheyenne Mountain. Cheyenne Mountain is where NORAD is (or at least was) and is in central-somewhere Colorado. Cheyenne Wyoming is on the plains in the SE corner of Wyoming, out in the middle of no-where, about 95 miles north of Denver. So, no, there's not much to "show people" who happen to be near FE Warren. But, FEWAFB is the home of the 90SMW. No run-way, in the western edge of town, and LOTS of SP's. Mick, No, not really "mad". At the time we left FoH, yeah, I was. But, by-gones are by-gones, and we all move on. ![]() Bul |

![]() Cheyenne Mountain is in Colorado Springs, CO. Common knowledge these days, especially since all the news channels broadcast that their towers are on top of it. I worked up there before they contracted the tech control out, then PCA'd down to Peterson. I'm a 3C251, for those of you who were curious ![]() |
