I am trying to install PoP on another computer and whenever it tries to copy the file snd13.pfs I get an error that the file differs from the setup .cab file. This is at about 25-30%. If I select ignore, the installation will go on normally, until around 43% where there is a "catastrophic failure" and setup closes. I have tried 2 different PoP CD's and both worked on another computer. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks!

Just a quick thought - I have seen problems like this due to a slightly buggy cd-rom drive - can you swap the drive with a good one for the duration of the install?

Thanks! Worked great, except the installation program seemed to think I already had it installed, and that it was in the winnt directory.... but after some copying and pasting, all is well (I hope).
And yes, that was me with the brooms, and I still have those in the bank I think 8D Ahhhh, the good ol' days 8). -Walnutt |
