Default n00b again

well I am back.. yet again.. and I started a Mage to get back to my roots (my first char ever was a mage way back when...) and I was soloing last night in LS when I realised that there are probably WAY better places I can go for xp in some of the new expansions.. I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions I just made level 12 and can probably go ahead and get 16 tonight right there in LS, but after that I could use some tips on good xping spots for low levels

I like the new spells too.. this healing your pet thing is kinda nice, and I can't wait to get the focus item things too

I would actully kill Sirens on OOT or head to Lake Rathe. Another option would be Fallen Iksar in Tim Deep.

Go to Paludal Caverns, the exp is crazy there. You could probably get from 12 to 25ish in one day there

With proper buffs, Paludal can take you from 1 to 27 in a night easy. Otherwise, wait until you are 5 before you go there. There is no better exp than that place for those levels.

Default noob again

Hail,

Welcome back to the game.

I just sucked two people from my office building into the game this week. Muhahahaa!

Other than giving them some containers, basic advice, and lowbie gear, I've pretty much left them to their own devices. One is uber on UO (and picking stuff up fast), the other is a complete MMORPG newbie.

Does anyone know any guilds that have low/no level requirements that are currently active & accepting applications? They are low enough that they could probably start a new character if specific classes are more sought after over others.

The faction/RP requirements of my own family are rather steep, and I don't want to overwhelm them.

Any advice for them would be appreciated.
Once again, welcome back.
Take care,
Frekkels

Best advise I can think of.. tell them to go out and be social.. make some friends.. at least 10 friends.. then take all 10 and become a guild. That's what we did when the server first started way back in april of whatever year that was..

Started a guild called "Order of Ascensoin" with some friends.. since then I have been in a few other guilds, Dread Lord, Tabula Rasa, and Affliction.. and have met alot of really great people... but when I came back the last time it was my friends from the good ol' Order of Ascension that I came back for

I would be willing to bet that we may well be the oldest still active guild on this server to boot!

In short.. my advice is join a guild because of friends.. don't just find the nearest guild and jump in.. you won't be nearly as happy with the guild

Hey dude, welcome back to the game. Sorry you chose a mage though. Your warrior was kick ass. For suggestion on where to hunt from 12 up, well you would have a problem in Oasis now. They revamped the zone. No more crocs. They have some, but really scarce now days. Darkbones, madmen, ghouls, and Mummies are the rulers over there. I dont know your equipment/skills but seems your starting over from scratch. It would be good to go to the caverns as the others have said. You can easily run to nexus and get a C3 or HP/AC buffs.

Again, Nice to see you back. Lets hook up sometimes. Need a PL to get that next round of spells. I got cleric to buff you. druid to DS you, Enchanter to Clarity you so it wouldn't be a problem doing so. Untill then man keep it safe and get those levels
