Default Donating for C3

I was just curious if someone would be kind enough to list here how much they normally donate for a casting of C3.

Whats the average price to pay?

Thanks

Average really depends on the wealth and generousity of the person who wants - have seen anywhere from 25pp to 300pp per casting.

I either donate 50 plat or a 100 plat, depending on whether the enchanter is only casting on me (100 plat) or if he/she waits to get a full group of 5 other people (50 plat).

Here's a tip.

Try ask "Would you be so kind so pass me Koadics Endless Intellect please?"

Instead of. "How much for c3 plz?".

you might get it without paying or not be ignored, and come off as a nice guy and not as a annoying fuck...

I have mixed feelings about this.

I dont know if the spel requires a reagent
I dont know how much mana it require
It all depent's on the wallet of the one who is asking and how it is being asked.
I used to solo with my wizard a lot of times and it happened to me several times i got this spel casted on me without asking, and before i could react the person was gone already so i always gave them a nice tell in wich i thanked them very much with a side note that if they are needing me they always can count on help.

So it happened to me several times that clerics (who i have helped several times) take the time to run all over Norrath to rez my poor corpse.
When youre generous to others they will start to get the same behave on the long term..

Newbie's, some of them are a pain in the arse, just for the simple fact they are requesting high level buffs to get as soon as possible trough the first 10 levels.. sometimes its annoing.

Im always to pay a decent fee for services from another char... especially if it takes components or a huge manadump

Lightbulb :-)

Not that I cast Kei, however on the box next to me….

As always it important to be courteous and polite (to a point)... to those that do (as previously pointed out) you will make good friends and connections, to those that don't... >shrug< you’ll figure it out.

IMO the market changes, and will continue as more people get to the KEI level and beyond.

From my observances I have seen:

No donation - and not be able to afford it
No donation - and could afford it
Item donation (good and junk)
10... 20... 50... 100 plat.. (per person)
100 ... 300... 500 plat (for a group)
One time life donation of an item (blue diamond, 2k, etc)

On average the average is dropping and may be around 20 to 30 plat (some pay 5 some pay 50).

A Few things of note:

If you pay a small amount expect to wait until the group is full.
Chanters love a Mod Rod

Giving a person a donation you automatically appear in the target... set for a invite.

GET OUT of you group before you get an invite from Chanter

GET OUT of the group after its cast

When you’re invited ... sit or move so chanter can see others (chanters can use F9 to get different view to see more but not all may do this)

While sitting around its nice to buff a member of the group wit a SOW, or heal or shield.

Most of the time a chanter appreciates a buff when in the field however when sitting in the nexus... unless its a focus or something... whats the point?

Just my observances

Enjoy all

Well, I always am courteous(sp?) when asking for KEI, in fact, I normally say, "May I get a KEI please?" unless the enchy is shouting/oocing to just hail them. And I donate whatever I can, unless I'm just plain broke :|

Default Donations for the addiction

I usually donate between 20 and 100, sometimes more, it all depends on if I'm stuck sitting in a group waiting for it to fill or not....
I never buff people who say things like "Would you plz buf me?" even if it's "Would you plz buf me fer100pp"
Down with the plz !!!

The question for the original poster should be how much is it worth to YOU, not what it costs ME in time or reagents.

Personally, I've got better things to do that be a buff whore.

And, as a member of the Katty Fan Club(TM) any tells with "PLZ" will be ignored.

That's kind of annoying. All these elaborate rules and huge cost to obtain KEI from an enchanter, but the rest of the buffers are expected to freely buff the other members of the "to be KEIed" group?

I definitely don't mind paying for KEI, but I think that's ironic.

Ain't no rules, just things I have seen and some things I do.

Buffing…. I don’t think it’s expected... I thought that what words like "its nice", "I have seen" meant that and did not mean "rules"

Personally I don’t buff others often, however IF I see someone down in health, etc. I'll toss a heal / a SOW, etc. It dose not cost me anything (no dot, etc) and I'm sitting around (like waiting for KEI, or Nexus Spire, etc)

But that me… U can do what ever u want.

When I donate for KEI, I usually pay between 25-50pp, I usually try not to keep to much plat on me at once. When I do get KEI though, everyone else in the group also gets a nice bonus, cause I cast PotG on the group too (Another 6 mana per tick).

That's just me though

I usually pay whatever cash loot I am making in the camp I am hunting. In HS dual boxing I usually make about 300pp dual boxing my ranger and my wife's cleric. I will donate 300pp for the both of us when we gate back to nexus.

C3 is definitely worth every penny you spend on it.

When playing my druid alt with C3 i can quad and lose only a bub and a half of mana at the end of the fight.

Heck, i even had 2 adds once and i rooted and doted them to death and took care of the quad and i finished with mana to spare.

I always pay what I have, but I certainly would not think about paying less that 30pp

I usually pay 50pp for KEI. Strangely enough, there seems
to be lots of enchanters MGB'ing clarity lately in the nexus
free of charge though, so even a broke person can get KEI
nowadays.

usually i pay 100 or 200 for kei depending on what i got on me, its well worth it... however, paying that much would explain why i am usually poor.
