Another PB fave is open faced, toasted, PB and sprinkle sugar on top. PB and lettuce is good too. In a pinch, just grab a spoon and scoop PB to eat. Mom, would occasionally eat PB and Onion sandwiches. erk. Guess I can't really knock it...haven't tried it. |

PB and Bananna definitely, When I was allergic to PB as a kid (luckily I grew out of it for the most part) I had cream cheese and jelly sandwiches. |

Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly for me. Peanut Butter and Orange Marmolade my 4 year olds favorite. Peanut Butter Sandwich and Jelly sandwich for my 6 year old that doesn't like them to mix. So I make half of each for him. Ghie tends to make his own. Creamy Peanut Butter though none of that crunchy stuff. |

PB and Banana or PB and Grape Jelly (Welch's is the best) or PB and Bacon (fried crispy not soft) best ways to have it that don't involve another person - ![]() |

/semi-hijack on There's an asian vegetable side dish that I make once in a great while where I use peanut butter. Peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili pepper oil (marinade) Bean sprouts Mix. Let it chill in the fridge. Serve in small portions. My mother also used a little bit of peanut butter in her teriyaki marinade. /semi-hijack off -C |

![]() When I was a kid, I used to have peanut butter (crunchy of course) and jelly sandwiches a lot, and I'd have potato chips on the side (ruffled preferably). At some point I had the idea of just eating it all together- i.e. making the sandwich, opening up the sandwich, putting two layers of potato chips inside, closing the sandwich, and gently (so as not to rip the bread), pressing down to break up the chips a bit. Tastes awesome. I also was one for peanut butter and honey or peanut butter banana. Ah, also I would have sliced apple on the side while eating the potato chip and peanut butter and jelly sandwich and I'd take a bite of the sandwich, take a bit of an apple slice, and it would be great. Never thought of putting the apples inside the sandwich (perhaps because I didn't think of slicing them). This post is great. I haven't had a peanut butter jelly sandwich in so long because of the stupid creamy junk my dining hall serves, hmmmm, maybe I'll have to petition. |
