Default Your browser does not support Java!

Like hell it doesn't. I'm running Windows XP Professional which comes with IE6 built in yet from some reason I can't run any java whilst every other XP machine I've built can.

How do I get my broswer to be java enabled.

Visit Sun at

http://java.sun.com/getjava/download.html

This installs the proper SUN Java Virtual machine for XP.

Actually I believe that you need to install the windows XP Service Pack 1. Thats what I did and now java works. I got a message asking for virtual java and thats what fixed it.

Try using Blackdown's if they make one for Windows. Sun's own version is bloated trash IMHO.

Default Virtual Java

I'm getting the virtual java message.

Question is how do I install SP1 when I have, shall we say a less then legitimate version of XP?

The less then reputable versions of windows updates are usually very easy to find on MIRC, but then again, everything you could possibly imagin is rather easy to find on MIRC.

You can also change your cd key, but finding a good one and changing it over is harder than finding a less then legitimate copy of the sirvice pack.

Good luck
