Default odd video bug

anybody help me with this: all the wolves look like they got skinned or something. all the other mobs look ok. but my pet, any druid in wolf form, all the wolves in GD, ...etc. all look very wierd. anybody run into this before? i think deleteing the file with that image in it and repatching would work, but i don't know which global file it is. any help would be nice.

I had the same issue, on two different machines. Turning OFF Texture caching fixed it...

Mine also put mitten and booties on the various Skellie models

Delete all the .tcx files in your EQ folder and let EQ rebuild them (provided you use texture caching)

You can try just deleting your texcache.txc file first. That usually fixes the problem and then EQ won't have to rebuild all your .txc files which could be quite slow depending on your connection.

My wolves are all blue with red heads!
Makes them easier to spot!

I once had the bard class icon all over Shadow Haven.

it felt like a very gay zone. had to hurry and clear my texture cache.

Back in the day, if you turned on MIP mapping with an underpowered graphics card, you'd get funky textures all over the place. The Freeport Militia Guard vest texture used for the walls. Boomba the Big's head on the ground. Funny stuff like that.

yeah, all the wolves on my screen turned blue with red heads too as soon as I loaded up PoP -- thought it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen, didn't know what to think or do about that, so took a few screenshots and ran along my merry way

Yeah, a while ago I ran into DSP from NL and the pillars were black instead of white and they had a huge Lotus on each of them. Quite pretty actually but I couldnt stand the trees that were solid blue and red.

Nice location. Maybe you should have gone with "Wherever whenever we're meant to raid together I'll be there and you'll be near and that's the deal my dear".
