Default Outlook 2002 questions

I'm pretty much a noob with Outlook 2002, so I was wondering if anyone could help out a bit.

So I noticed there isn't an option in Outlook 2002 to add people where you sent an email to automatically to the address book. However, there's an add-in:
http://www.slipstick.com/dev/code/autoaddrecip.htm

I installed Redemption and after that started Outlook 2002 and put the code in the correct location, so the upper part in the ThisOutlookSession module and the other two in two separate ones. But when I click on compile it gives an error on Redemption.SafeMailItem, "User Defined Type Not Defined". I assume it has to do with Redemption not being installed correctly though I've installed it with the installer and when I thought that didn't work after this error, I installed it manually too.

Another question while we're at it,
Outlook Express always picked the correct email account to reply to an email. Is there an option or some add-in that will let Outlook 2002 do the same?

Thanks in advance for any replies

Normally I'd say that it doesn't recognize the Redemption component, but since you specified the actual method "SafeMailItem," it could be anything inside of that method. It may be some other reference within that method that's broken...and it could be something that came with the Redemption install that didn't get installed properly, or...it could be something that Redemption is assuming is already installed on your machine but isn't...maybe something changed by MS.

Most likely, since Redemption was supposed to help you get around security limitations imposed by MS, Redemption was deliberately "broken" by Microsoft. You will probably need to wait for an update from the Redemption folks.

I might be wrong!

I had a reply from the Microsoft newsgroups and it seems you need to click "Tools > References..." in Visual Basic, and it's working now, thanks though ;)

As for the second question, it prolly had to do with the email import, it's working with new emails.
