I can't fathom a sacrifice because there is no apparent motive to give one's self up to getting their head cut off with a knife.
The lack of blood is what really stuns me.

From what I have read, Bumble, is that his entire family is anti-war, his aunt is married to an Iraqi man and she lives in Mosul, his email address was somehow obtained and used by Zarqawi (coincidence?)... I see enough there to point at a potential motive.

Hey bumble here is some fuel for that show 'B-Files' you're working on. The father of Berg said to fox news and i quote "i dont know why they would target my son he was a friend of Al Qaeda..."

Does beheading hurt? And, if so, for how long is the severed head aware of its plight?

Consciousness after decapitation.

I noticed this in the video. It looked like he opened his mouth
to breathe. It was very disturbing. I pray for his soul.

Btw, the blood is there.
Please don't ask me to discribe how to see it.

I want to know where you read this Lurikeen.
In fact, I want valid links for your outrageous claims.

Here you are. But as I stated before, this is just what I have read. I can't confirm the veracity of the sources and never pretended that we are doing anything other than speculation in this thread. Understand?

Don't have proof...

A month or so ago I went with a friend to the library to study up finals. She studied her biology and studied my stuff. Upon reviewing her fetal pig organs and such, she mentioned that her professor had shown them/mentioned an experiment concerning the decapitation of a frog. Once decapitated, the frog's body was touched with a drop of acid randomly, the frog swatted the area with its flippers the areas that had been touched with acid.

Z- the eyes blinking after a decapitation are normal. I remember a show in the History channel about the Guillotine which mentioned about this. They said that it was normal for the eyes to twitch.
As far as the blood, that is a pretty clean cut if you ask me. There really is no blood at all on his neck as "Zarqawi" is cutting.
