why should Bush be fully credited for the problems in the Middle East?
Nobody said it is entirely his fault. However, the contention is that he has not made it any better.
There is a belief that a second Carter term as opposed to a Reagan first term may have been able to avert a lot of what is occurring in the middle east as far as the US is concerned.

And I understand your contention that Bush is seeing the finish line and going after it. However, Iraq is, nor has never been the problem with the Middle East. Saudi Arabia is much more of a problem.
As I said before, simply going to war just to go to war doesn't actually fix anything. War must be done with a distinct purpose. This did not have that purpose. It is war simply to act and not war with purpose.

Brigiid- Israel and Saudi Arabia are the root of more problems in the Middle East. Iraq, was so heavily contained within itself politically that they were not even a player in the Middle East.
Its funny how the terrorists are religious zealots however, Iraq under Saddam was a secular state. That right there shows you the influence Iraq had with the entire middle east.

So when they were invading Kuwait, that was an example of their self-containment?

That happened 13 years ago. I can assure you also that this was not in any way the root of what has been causing terrorism to sprout and anti-US sentiment in the area. You don't solve a problem by starting another one, its that simple.

You're asking me to believe someone's essay? This whole site is about
Washington DC maps and tourist information, not kennedy facts.
Is that the best you can come up with? Lame Lame. Try again.

Ted Kennedy should apologize for his brother starting Vietnam.
