Talking Zell Miller Endorses Bush

SENATOR ZELL MILLER OF GEORGIA, the nation's most prominent conservative
Democrat, said today he will endorse President Bush for re-election in 2004 and
campaign for him if Bush wishes him to. Miller said Bush is "the right man at the
right time" to govern the country.
Oh happy days are here again (Sing along)

Since he came to the Senate in 2000, Miller has become increasingly critical
of Senate Democrats and the national Democratic party. He recently
published a new book, "A National Party No More: The Conscience of a
Conservative Democrat," in which he criticizes the party for being too liberal,
too elitist, and subservient to liberal interest groups. In the
book, Miller singles out Democratic presidential frontrunner Howard Dean,
whom he knew as governor of Vermont, for being shallow.
This is so much fun i'm speachless.

Oh and check out what Luri and bumbles friends are saying about it,
They're almost as happy as I am.
Ok I lied. LMFAO.

WEEEEEeeeeeeeee

Zen Miller is a fucking scrotumless cum guzzler. He should grow a pair and leave the party that got him elected.

I voted for Zell when he ran for Governor. Just goes to show that I am capable of voting for a Democrat.

He's a good man. Most moderate Democrats like him. It's those radical liberals that can't stand him. I think the radical liberals should come up with their own party so the Democratic party will have a chance once again.

Zel Miller is the only man in the Dem party with a sack. He's the only one without his head shoved ten feet up Billary's ass and I commend him for having the guts to show intelligence and go against the sheeplike, brainwashed mentality of the chaotic, unfocused, and repulsive Democratic party.

I agree Zolmaz, it's so much fun to see the "left" spasm!!!! They just can't stand to see a person stand up for what they believe in. Miller is a Democrat at heart, but he is also a very intelligent, understanding and compassionate man, unlike the far left. The far left is KILLING the entire Democratic party, spliting it, extremely devisive.

Miller is a Republican- this isn't that hard to understand, even for such drooling ignorami as the cons on this board.

It's true he stands up for what he believes in. It's also true he should grow a pair and switch parties to the one whose ideology he falls in line with.

And yeah, this is very old and unsurprising news. /yawn

So Hormadrune there are alot of Democrat Senators out there voting yes to ban gay marriage and amend their States Constitution. Should they switch to the Republican party?

There are many Democrat Senators that support Bush on the way he is dealing with the war on Terrorism? Should they switch to the Republican party?

There are many Republican Senators that support Kerry's plans for the economy and healthcare. Should they switch to the Democratic party?

Just checking.

Caelie- I don't mean to say one must always toe the party line. I do mean that when you are consistently siding with the Republicans on virtually every issue and even support a GOP president who has given exceedingly short thrift to Democrats (and democracy ) then perhaps it's time to think about changing teams. Hell, the mere fact that someone like you supports him shows how distant he is from the party he pretends is his home. He's just too old/lazy/stubborn/cowardly to change I guess.

Or, how distant the party has become from what it's base is. The current Dem party is nothing more than a self gratiating, special interest serving, elitist, ultra liberal group of nutcases...and I think this is what has Miller upset.

Its base sure as shit doesn't support George W Bush for president. If you think Zell Miller is truly representative of the Dem base then you really need to spend more time at the clue store

He's a lot more representative than you think Horm...you need to stop surrounding yourself with stoners, militant feminists, and brain dead washed up political icons and you might be surprised to discover just how far right, and isolated some of your "true blue democrats" have drifted because of the insanity that the special interest minority groups have made platform issues within your own terribly fractured party.

My next door neighbor is a die hard Democract..we always have a bit of fun come election time trying to "position" our yard signs to block one another. and his Gore/Liberman sign mysteriously disappeared just as my Bush/Cheney did during the last election. I talked with him just two days ago while he was out back grilling and he expressed honest to goodness disgust with the Dem party and flatly stated that unless you guys got off the issue of gay marriage, got off the issue of increasing taxes, got off the issue of gutting the Patriot Act, and got on the issue of strengthening the military and defense funding he would have a hard time not pulling the lever for Bush in 04. I don't think you would have ever heard those words come out of his mouth four years ago.

You guys seriously need to gut your party and get realistic if you intend on having a shred of a chance of winning in November. You have moved so far left that you have started to piss off your own party backbone, just to appease a tiny group of wierdos.

And believe it or not...most people do not like Teddy Kennedy...the more his face appears on TV behind Kerry..the better I feel about November.

It's a cute story and all Trith, but the polls speak to a dead heat race right now- not the total annihilation you seem to insinuate- as if the Dems are a party in turmoil. In fact, most analysts are saying that the party is the most cohesive it's been in a while simply because of the unity of thought in getting Bush out ASAP.

Trith, your anecdote about your neighbor is hardly indicative of the majority in the Democratic party.

You may not know this, but the Democratic party has always been "fractured". In fact, if the party was ever to lose it's divisions, then that would be the point in time I would leave the party, since that would indicate most people in the party had stopped thinking independently and were simply willing to be led about like sheep.

Awful bold statement to make with the polls lining up as they do at the moment. All I can say is we shall see. I think America wants to get the monkey out of the white house, you think they have an affinity for simian leadership- only the first Tuesday in November will show who is right and who is pissed.

Bring back Ross Perot!!!!

Why get the 'monkey' out of the White House when all you have is a Jack Ass to replace him? At least a 'monkey' is closer to a human, evolutionarally speaking.

Here you go Z-
http://www.salon.com/news/feature/20.../index_np.html
Two can play this game Zolmaz.
By the way for you cons who can't understand opposing views even within your party- Both Chuck Hagel and John McCain heaped praise upon John Kerry. Oh and also this guy name Richard Clarke- card carrying Republican. Go figure, some cons think Bush is weak on terrorism and Kerry is strong. Where does that leave all you extremists?

Kerry strong on Terrorism? Thats funny Bumble. Har Har.

Clark is just a liar. Not a threat to either party imo. He has an agenda
that includes his bank account. Even Kerry "said" that if Clark is lieing
under oath he should be held accountable.

Stop playing the anti-Bush card and start learning about both parties.
At least.
