I have this theory that Bob Dylan is a vampire that feeds on the souls of young up and coming male folk-rock singers in order to stay alive. Nick Drake was his first victim. Jeff Buckley, Elliot Smith, etc. Poor bastards. How many have to die to satisfy Bob's insane bloodlust?!

Yes I should probably lay off the weed.

In Flames - Trigger (EP)...In Flames - Sountrack to Your Escape
disgusting =\

Uhh, was listening to Void of Silence in my car... but mostly been listening to Skepticism, Esoteric, Dozer, Electric Wizard, In Flames (Lunar Strain + Subterranean), and some Sunn O)))/Earth. Ofcourse there's always the obligatory Anathema/Katatonia too... \m/
I have some mp3 cds in my car with no less than 40 cds on them (mostly Doom, some Death, some Power metal), and around 12 gigs of music on my comp (mostly metal)...so my listening varies a bit (more artist variation than genre though).

i dont think NFG's last 2 albums were any good...but i liked nothing gold can stay, self titled, and from the screen to your stereo at the time they were released. My band played a show with them in New Orleans before they got big so they have had an impact on my life regardless of whether i still listen to them, and we wouldnt mind being on drive thru records either. NFG is on Fat Mike's (lead singer/bass player of nofx, owner of fat wreck chords) Rock Against Bush compilation with bands like Strung Out, and they play warped tour which is more than i can say about myself (chad is younger than me which really pisses me off). they are living the good life and Im not, so i got to give it to them.

I listen to a pretty big variety of stuff, but two albums that I've thoroughly enjoyed lately are "By the Way" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and "Seasons" by Sevendust.

Sarah Brightman. I've been absolutely fanatical over that woman ever since I caught her Harem tour when it came to my neck of the woods. When I come out of my SB stupor, though, I'll listen to Nelly Furtado, Matchbox Twenty, Live, Sting, Avril, Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Mandalay, Conjure One / Delerium, and Tara Maclean.

I saw her in concert about 4 years ago, it was a very good show. I really like her older stuff when it was more opera sounding. But the newer stuff like on Harem has too much of an ariabian nights type sound (I lack a better discription I know) to it so I don't like it.

Seeing A Perfect Circle in concert on June 13th got APC and Tool put back onto my playlist.

So playlist for the past month or so has been like:

A Perfect Circle - 13th Step & Mer De Noms
Tool - Aenima & Lateralus (I don't think I can ever get tired of listening to Lateralus, the cd just kicks to much ass)
Nine Inch Nails The Fragile, specifically the left CD.
System of a Down - Toxicity. Haven't really listened to them since last summer.
Disturbed - Music as a weapon
Deepender - A local band. I work with the bass player. Surprisingly good stuff.
Aphex Twin - I care because you do. I haven't listened to any Aphex in a while and threw this on and it has sticked for now..
Seabound - Beyond Flatline & No Sleep Demon. These guys are awesome. I recommend giving them a try if you're into Apoptygma Berzerk and the like.

I'm sure there are a couple other songs randomly thrown in that I can't remember at the moment.
