Right now, The Descendants - Everything Sucks. Even when it doesn't, it's still an amazingly good album.

Other albums I might be playing in the lab...

Kid Dynamite - Self Titled
Hot Water Music - No Division, Forever and Counting
Lifetime - anything by them, minus the EP-only tracks since I don't have a record player at work.
Propaghandi - How to Clean Everything
Thursday - Full Collapse
Rufio - 1985
Saves The Day - Through Being Cool
A Wilhelm Scream - anything by them
Slick Shoes - Wake Up Screaming

Holy shit, Abrucx listens to VNV? my brotha!

Vendrix i hope you're just listening to the title song "God Hates us all", becuase the rest of the cd sucks major ass. It jusr smacks of "hi we are slayer and are trying to relive the 80s and show how oldschool we are!!"

Seeing Bowie and Reznor live is pretty cool (as well as Manson and Reznor). I like it when they duo Reptile too Didn't get to see it live, but a Scary Monsters (live version) with Reznor also sounds pretty neat.

Own pretty much all the halos (minus like 3 that I need to rebuy damn them women and mah cds!). The "We're In This Together" singles cost me $20 each for 3 damn songs, and they were 3 different singles! lol

Baid mentioned Richard Cheese on his list, have a Closer version from him, sounds pretty cool.

Adding to the rest of my list:

Stone Temple Pilots
Metallica
Beck
Radiohead
Korn
Chopin
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Coal Chamber
Fear Factory
Godsmack (only like the song Whatever)
Static-X (only bothered with debut album)
System of the Down (ditto ^)
Tool
Rob Zombie
Monster Magnet

just to name a few

I've found myself drawn to a lot of women musicians (maybe cuz I'm a woman) and my favorites are:

Michelle Branch (she writes her own songs, plays guitar...I love that)
Avril Lavigne
Britney Spears (and not ashamed to admit it)
Evanescence
Madonna
a little Shakira (like 2 songs)
Sheryl Crow
Jewel
Loreena McKennitt
Sarah Brightman
Garth Brooks

but my band favs are:
Tool
A Perfect Circle (kinda goes hand in hand w/ Tool)
Metallica
Weezer
Cake
FooFighters
NOFX
Lagwagon
Eagles
U2
and of couse old Def Leppard, Rush, Yes, Jethro Tull, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd (all time best)

so I guess I'm partial to anything really, but can't stand rap (no offense to anyone who likes)

KISS rocks. =o)

I listen to country too..but right now I'm listening to Uncle Kracker!

85 miles out of Nashville, thinkin bout the way things change
Try an keep it by the reigns
I'm a lone drifter, big money flipper
Take anything you got on the rocks in a snifter
I missed her in Kentucky, went down to Louisiana
I never had no lovin like I had in Alabama
A man of my word and out to hurt nobody
I'm just a mc to keep the boogie in the party
Been sittin lodi dodi since 84 and
I'll be sittin lodi dodi till I'm eighty four
I couldn't ask for more, life's been sweet
So you can save the planet I'll save your seat

I been gone for weeks, I ain't slept in days
I can't find myself in this self made maze
It's been so long since I've been fine
I'm just tryin to see the bottom of the bottle of wine
And I know I'll see better days
Well I know you'll see things my way

I never thought about change until
Spend a little time where time stood still
Been lookin for a mill, but I keep comin up shy
I been a broke fool, I ain't tryin to be that guy
Wanna ride like lightning, roll like thunder
I'm tryin to get some money I ain't gettin any yonger
At times I wonder at, at times I won't
Sometimes I give a fuck, but most times I don't
Don't, don't even care
Through stained glass windows these eyse stare
I try to stay straight but it's kickin my ass
Everytime I look ahead I get a glimpse of the past
I sit half mass like a soldier's flag
That's why my left leg limp's and my Dickies sag
It's been so long since I've been fine
I'm just tryin to see the bottom of the bottle of wine
And I know I'll see better days
Well I know you'll see things my way
And I know I'll see better days
Well I know you'll see things my way

Well I been all around this crooked land
I came across all walks, I shook Jim Beam's hand
I got no plans and no place to go
It keeps gettin harder to just say no
I see the people laugh and I see the people cry
That's how some live and that's how some die
Well me, myself I'm gonna sit righ here
And I'm a watch this this world break down in tears
All my fears and dark gray skies
Couldn't crack my smile or break my stride
Got too much pride, I got too much shout
I might be down, but I still ain't out
Got to much time and that's all I have
When I leave this world I'll still be sad
It's been so long since I've been fine
I'm just tryin to see the bottom of the bottle of wine
And I know I'll see better days
Well I know you'll see things my way
And I know I'll see better days
Well I know you'll see things my way

I just bought some new albums on my weekend trip to Osan. They might not be new releases, but new to me. Finding out about new music is very hard here in Korea. Especially since when I'm not at work I play EQ, so no time to surf the net.

Metropolis Records is the shit for industrial music. Velvet Acid Christ, Hocico, and Funker Vogt are some of my favorites.

The new stuff I got is all awesome.

Opeth - Damnation
Cannibal Corpse - The Wretched Spawn
In Flames - Trigger (EP)
In Flames - Soundtrack to Your Escape
Exodus - Tempo of the Damned
Dark Tranquility - Exposures
Drowning Pool - Desensitized

I mainly listen to Death/Black Metal, but a lot of other stuff as well. But, NO RAP - NO HIP-HOP - NO COUNTRY... Sorry fans
