Unhappy So much h8 for LDoN

Ok to make a long story short, my group failed a collection adventure right at the last second, the timer went off as the shaman was accepting the last "No Drop" item that needed to be looted.

We got denied

He posted it 'cos he wanted to vent. Bleah. I'd be pissed if that happened too.

Had the 'You earned X points for completing your adventure' right in the same time my grp was Failed. The loot message for the last item came up at the same time too. Grrr. I have dwelt over this for a while.

You think along the lines of something like 'if the last second interval counts at end time, then a whole interval of 1 second should be inside the allowed time to forestall a failed mission result.." a grace period of one second's interval on the final bell, you'd think. Am I right?

This kind of stuff goes through your head over and over, and you slump in your seat. It's obvious to WE who experience the malformed digital chronometry of allowed time under those circumnstances that the 'failed' result is therefore absolutely incorrect. But how to argue with lousy old instantaneous recorded time?

I have given this some serious thought, and though I agree that the digital chronometry is indeed malformed, I have decided that if I have to read a few more of your posts I will probably deign to stab my own eyes out with a fork.

I think someone should buy my account LDoN so I can understand better why it isn't liked.

Any volunteers? Anyone at all......

Please?

They might as well increase the time by 5 minutes while they are at it so you whinners don't have to bitch about what you are not getting. They make rules and set regulations for a reason. Get over it.

I actually like LDoN quite a bit. Been having quite a bit of fun with it. My reason for posting here is that yesterday in our group we noticed our "Time to complete" timer was different for everyone. I showed 11 minutes to go in our mission, others showed 5 minutes, and yet another showed 4 minutes.

Unfortunately for us, the 4 minute timer turned out to be the correct time.

No idea why we all showed different times but I'm going to bug report it today, and urge others to do the same.

I think LDoN is still the best expansion for grouping and xp... by a clear margin IMO.

Who had the 4 minute timer? (most likely the first person to enter the dungeon)

We've had this issue before, you need to make sure you all zone in at the same time or your timers will be off.

The actual timer for the adventure is calculated off the first person that goes in, it's then supposed to be populated out to the other 5 members of the group. I would still bug it, but always go by the lowest timer while in an adventure.

I have also had the "time to complete" bug with my roommate, but it has only been off by a minute. (ie There would be 60 minutes left on my timer and 59 minutes left on his).
