No. Definately No. I can handle no details thank you.

Personally I would think that the problems of having a pine cone shoved up your pale in comparison to the problems caused when trying to remove it again afterwards.

Those boys seem to have entirely too much energy left after practice. I rmember being so damned exhausted after practice/camp, all I wanted to do was eat/sleep.

It's bad enough it happened, but while others who could have stopped it, just stood and watched.

Justice willl come in the form of prison time, where they will get their just rewards, Im sure. Gives new meaning to...

They'll get theirs, in the end.

/salute

During practice before the season, energy was in short supply. During the season, it wasnt too bad. We had lots of energy for sticking things up other dudes asses.

We chose to expend that energy in other pursuits, like sticking things into things, to stay in practice for next year.

No arrests have been made, and prosecutors and school officials have not commented on the specifics of the allegations.
Doesnt look like anyone is going to jail. as i said this would probably not even been reported if the one guy didnt get seriously injured.

Hazing can be fun with enough alcohol involved . I was mildly hazed when I joined a sorority and it was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had, but then again I never had to have a pine cone shoved up my ass. Anyway, point being that all hazing isn't bad, some can be fun as long as both parties consent and they're not forced to do anything that's going to harm anyone.

I would also like to say that the other tragedy about this is that the JV people just accepted it as though they somehow deserved it. If they had resisted, and informed the authorities (and press) afterword if then forced into such a postion, the hazers would not merely be "looked into", they would be locked up under rape charges.

While in High School, I joined the wrestling team. The hazing they attempted to use was not something I wished to partcipate in. When they explained that hazing is a requirement for being on the team, I replied that I never saw that in the school classes list description. They then went on to be more forceful. Fortunatly I had about four years of TKD under my belt at that time. Even more fortunatly was the year and a half of Akido I had been taught. Suffice to say that while they may have started it, I 'was in fear of my life as it was four to one odds against armed opponents and defended myself to the fullest extent of my abilities'.

Also, I would like to point out that light hazing, with full cooperation from both parties, is not necessarily a bad thing. I enjoyed my time in Aggieland even with the pushups and stuff.

But under no circumstances do I agree with any form of hazing that compromises the integerety of a persons morals or safty.

Just my two cents
