Default Top 10 SV Threads of 2007

Maybe its your favorite thread... or just a memorable debate, cut-down, come back, etc..

Thought it would be a fun thread to end the year on.

Im gonna look it over and post mine shortly..

We just need someone neutral to list the categories for awards then. As in, a mod or someone who doesn't post in SV.

wtf. How the hell did I get dragged into this?

You honestly think brown nosing will save you if I decide that you need perma-banned from here?

Come back to earth once in a while Rheaton. It might help your sense of reality overall.

Well FFS, I had nothing to do with this thread, wanted nothing to do with this thread, and yet Mr. High and Mighty drops in dragging me into it.

For the record I nominate any thread where Chiteng actually provided a source with his usual clammering on about whatever.

Suprisingly enough there hasnt been very many homo threads (cept those started by Lurik.. all Lurik threads are gay).. Anyway.. those are always fun.

Veo is going through the change I think. He may even be shaving now.. his posts are more grown-up...

EC must be having a hard time right now.. she just seems more angry.

Brig ... too much to type right now about her (really getting messed up in the head she is..)

Horm is slowly becoming more conservative...which is nice to see... I guess.

I had something witty to say but, I forgot it. Does this happen more as one gets older?

Retirement threads. I think Lurikeen wins that one, although Rheaton has made a few of those as well sometime in the past year

Shup before Furo starts calling me a liar!!

Its would shatter me eggshell ego..

My theads have been "goodbye" ish... which really isnt needed at all. Lurik's on the other hand was liken to a druggie staying goodbye to the crack.

Heh. I can't wait to see what you've got to say about the ways in which I'm 'getting messed up in the head'.

If you click replies at the top of the threads you can scroll down through and see the threads with the most replies. Yes I am aware that most of you probably already know this but since I have to make things about me....

You need to narrow that down...

I'd be shocked if someone actually digs through all the old threads here to find some worthy of nomination. That said, I'll pick a few folks worthy of their own special accomidation:

Pitbull of the year award: Briigid. Take about a fierce. She grabs & won't let go, and usually well-reasoned & supported posts.

Educator of the year award: Beal. The accounting posts put me to sleep, but overall, he packs a ton of info in each post.

Sheer volume: Tie between Luri & Drysdale. Like two energizer bunnies tied to computer keyboards, they keep going and going.

(I've never really been *that* liberal...)

This would be a fun thread, but it would sort of require someone with initiative cull through the pile to pick out a few options for the rest of us who are too lazy to look/think back through a year's worth of posts.

I'll nominate Lurikeen for Teflon Don of the year: he went from a lying, serial-retiring, multiple-personality case to a regular poster in like a week. Sometimes I'm convinced this board is comprised of two contributors, me and Lurikeen's legion of accounts. I wonder if he PM's himself.

Beal secured his spot as Most Well-informed Douchebag. He's a smarmy, rim-licking poindexter with some really ugly politics, but he clearly knows his stuff on a number of issues which I can respect in spite of myself.

Zolmaz wins most anti-climactic comeback of the year: people were expecting fireworks and all we got was a wet fart. Disappointing. I think he lost his edge.
