How so? It's not like you can use PvP tactics on boss mobs, all this would establish is who is better at dueling. That said, I'm up for a guild war

I wouldn't complain too loud Chuk - from your Magelo it looks like VT treated you pretty well.
Considering how fucking buggy that damn zone was when we did it, even the loot wasn't enough to make it better. Chuk, Warren, Mukas, Umdar, Zeppo and any other Magister Shaman (holy shit Chuk's not the only one /boggle) paid for those loots with countless deaths nightly. (ok so Zeppo ENJOYED the deaths but still...)

Anyone in VT or coming into VT now has it much easier than what it was when it first opened. AEs were bugged, agro was totally fucked(as opposed to the mildly fucked it is now), mobs warped... hello mini Aten in goo1?????? Still remember the first night that happened..... At least now when you actually resist "Word of Darkness" you don't go blind, probably still get a knockback though(can't count the number of times I bugged that one, but usually bugged it each time I got sight back and saw "you resist word of darkness"). I know of many occasions where the AEs were so screwed up that you could be permablinded until you camped.

My favorite nightmare was the 45 minute autopull while in one of the cubbies on the trek from tvk to temeriel. We had a GM (regular occurance on all servers where the first guild on each had a gm watching) who agro'd stuff from the first floor that kept warping up to us and agro'ing the 2nd floor mobs around us. We had a constant pull with about 5 or 6 mobs lined up ready to kill. The GM tried to fix it once he realized that he had screwed it up but all he did was cause more mobs to agro.

The other memories that stand out... AE night in that same cubby. the run of death through a majorly bugged entrance to get to goo1 (this was probably the best night in there).

Yup, two guilds of high lvl players trying to get the most out of the game. Maybe one day in the future things will cool off, you never know .
Acctually I meant they both do as much wrong as they do good.

Thats the magic. I dont have to have specific cases, I just know. No one gets to climb the ladder without killing a few puppies and kittens on the way.

This thread pretty much sums up why MF kinda skipped VT.

Too much fodder for contention.

And having not been there for this particular incident I still kinda have to give Affliction the benefit of the doubt. RoD doesn't play well with others.

I received many emails from the guild, all describing the situation but with many differences. Some claim that your Guild and the other were there at the same time, some claim you were there before them and others claim you were there after.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That is copied from the email posted in this thread, recieved by an Affliction member regarding this. So even the GM got three different stories from them too...
