Oh Luri... you're so cute. You say things like that, but we both know one wink and you'll be drawers down upstairs waiting for a spanking and a fingerbang! Maybe I'll send Davek in to take care of your Holiday "needs".

As long as it's someplace warm and sunny and away from the family. Now that I'm a homeowner with space and renovations done, I'm hosting for Dead Bird birthday.

Just to reopen this old wound - here's a recent news story on the subject of sperm & child support. In this case, the guy doesn't have to pay support, since it's what was originally agreed to. Of course, I'm sure it will get appealed, etc:

HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that a woman who promised a sperm donor he would not have to pay child support cannot renege on the deal.

The 3-2 decision overturns lower court rulings under which Joel L. McKiernan had been paying up to $1,500 a month to support twin boys born in August 1994 to Ivonne V. Ferguson, his former girlfriend and co-worker.

“Where a would-be donor cannot trust that he is safe from a future support action, he will be considerably less likely to provide his sperm to a friend or acquaintance who asks, significantly limiting a would-be mother’s reproductive prerogatives,” Justice Max Baer wrote in the majority opinion issued last week.

Yeah, if there was an agreement beforehand, he shouldn't have to pay. It better be in writing, though, or it's going to end up a he-said-she-said kind of thing. It might be in the full article, I don't know. I didn't click the link.

I like the ruling, but I can see it being over turned. Pretty much all precedence up till now has been supportive of the childs interest regardless of agreements or circumstances. How is it in the childs interest not to receive support from its father?

I can think of a few reasons, but one example is:

If daddy is a pedophile, I'd say it's in the child's interest that he/she never know the father or receive support.

What does seeing the father have to do with support? This was a financial decision I think.

I just wouldn't want to know that I was raised with the direct support of a pedophile.

That's just my opinion though. Some people could care less where their money comes from!

Well, extra support is always good. But is it always necessary?

Jethro Bodine rendered the opinion?

Because you asked...

A bunch of girls think that you don't need no man to raise no child... shut the fuck up with the bullshit! Yeah, you can do it without a man, but it don't mean it's to be done! Shit! You can drive a car with your feet if you want to; it don't mean its a good fucking idea!
