Typical Democratic inefficiency - 7 months after the election, he's still not on the job. Lazy shit. Shame they can't nail him for going AWOL like they got Sanford.

60ish, Arlen Spector has said at least that he will not vote strictly on party lines. I really hope he holds to that, nothing could be worse than complete control of congress and the presidency by one party, either party.

Let 2 conservative SCOTUS members retire, and you'll really see the new Red Flag of the USSA.

And when a republican gets into office, the democrats say the same thing. Basically, the country is going to go to hell in a handbasket, no matter who's in charge.

This county was basically gone when Bush left office. That is why we had the Bush stimulus package and bailouts that Obama had to follow up.

Yeah, blame Bush for all the bad choices in congress...

(Note: I Blame Bush for his spineless signing of damn near every bill that came across the table.)

But only when the Republicans held control of Congress. When the Democrats came into power, he couldn't veto the bills fast enough.

I think Obama has it in the works for the lower 48 to become another province of Canada, we will downscale our military and hope the Mexicans start a cub scouts chapter to protect us.

He vetoed exactly 12 bills. 11 of which, in all fairness, were after Dems took office. But to portray that as being veto happy is a little extreme. 11 bills in 2 years. Hell, I belive Ford had something like 66 vetoes in his career, and that was less than 4 years.

I'm not entirely sure I fully understand this sentence. Is the claim here that Bush bailouts were bad and the Obama bailouts good?

Both were bad? Both good? Do you know yourself?

Or have you really gone to a place where everything Bush is bad and everything Obama good, so much so that it holds true even if they do the same thing?

Versus what? The Obama Administration, which has pursued so many of the same policies?
