You tell trained_player " You sure it isn't Hukis?"
That made me smile.

However, it is not ok to get chewed by someone's Mom in guildchat because you educated their son about Donkey sex or beating someone to death with a black giant rubber dildo(tm)
This would have made Fanon smile...except he may be getting convicted for that very crime soon.

Well, even with other people quoting him, I still don't care what he has to say. It is about as worthwhile as listening to the Bee Gees.

Wow, I don't think anyone here could have said it better. Btw Cerden, hows CoI doing? Or do you not comment on things you don't know about?

Maeel
Just wanted to say CoI is doing fine and dandy. We have just completed most of our backflagging taking out arbitor yesterday so 95% of the guild and trials are now ready to tackle RC event. Been clearing all of the water mini's getting our feet wet in preparation for fishboy and with new agreements in place with other ele guilds we have been enjoying sharing all the named in all 3 planes. Getting geared up nicely in ele gear and almost ready to move on. We had some of our better geared folks move on from lack of patience but that was to be expected with all the backflagging we were doing and thankfully thats mostly over til the next round of trials ( does it ever end? lol ).

Believe it or not Bum has even been nice! Not sure what Auena has been feeding him lately but he's been off his steady diet of raw red meat and babies and has been quite pleasant even when we screw up immensely. Gone are the days of browbeating and screaming rants lol. We now have a solid officer core with Resk and Shorduk stepping up to give Auena, Bum and Yenil a hand. Raiding is back to being fun again and we are moving ahead nicely.

Once again, due to our respecting other guilds and new backflagging agreements, the elemental planes are running smoothly and theres no cockblocking or training chit like in days past. Hopefully, this new found peace will continue right through Time. And so ends COI's update hehehe stay safe folks.

You miss a lot of comedy gold by using the ignore feature. I'd rather just sift through the garbage so long as you dig up a nugget every once in a while

Subject: care for an R&F burn of the 2nd degree??

Question
Hello Doctor,

I recently was served up a steaming hot shitburger via the Rants & Flames section of the EQ E-Marr Server Boards. The burn is focused in two areas, my face, and flabby white buttocks which have blistered with water bubbles and they are now dry. I wasn't careful and the skin off the bigger blister peeled off exposing what seems to be raw skin (pink and wet).

I haven't seen a doctor and my pharmacist suggested I use neosporin on the open skin and keep it bandaged. Sometimes I leave the bandage off because it seems to dry the wound and speed up healing. It is starting to itch a little. Can I use an cortisone cream? Am I caring for my burn properly? Is there anything else I can do?

Thank you so much for your help!

Cerden

Answer
Your pharmacist was right to reccomend neosporin and bandageing, especially once the blister has popped and the skin underneath is raw and tender. it is best to keep it protected and clean. Using a cream or ointment will help keep the itching to a minumum, (dryness tends to increase itchy sensations) but unfortunately itching is a normal part of healing. Even though the itching is a good sign, it can be annoying.

As far as i know it is perfectly safe to use cortizone, but really any soothing, healing fragrance free lotion will do. I myself used Nivea cream and johnson & johnson burn creams, but almost anything will do, so long as it's gentle. The basic idea is to keep the area hydrated, and clean. It sounds like you need to cease being the jackass who flame baits with the capcity of a booger-eating grade-schooler to prevent future injury.

I am copying in the basic care information below with more detailed information in case you are interested. it doesn't sound like you need it though

Regards,

Dr. UrAssIs

Mild or moderate accidental burn injuries, usually result in first or second degrees, and can most often be treated effectively at home. How to recognize the different types of burns, and their respective treatments follows:

Types of burns
---------------

First degree - burns are usually bright red or pink, are extremely painful and sensitive to the touch, and are usually accompanied by blistering. These types of burns can be caused by any number of heat sources, including the sun, scalds and direct heat sources, and can usually be safely and successfully treated at home.

Second degree - burns penetrate deeper and damage a thicker portion of the epidermal layers. They usually appear lumpy or mottled, with a white or yellowish center, surrounded by pink or red skin. This type of burn may be treated at home so long as they are fairly small, and do not develop infection.

Third degree - burns destroy all of the skin tissue, including nerves, and are characterized by numbness instead of pain. These types of burns must be treated immediately and by a physician.

How to treat them
------------------

Immediate care - if possible place the area under cold, running, water, or apply an icepack or cloth soaked in cold water. Tylenol and icepacks may help reduce the swelling and pain associated with burns.

Cleaning - wash the area by scrubbing lightly with a clean washcloth and a gentle soap like ivory. This will promote faster healing by removing the dead and damaged skin cells, allowing the healthy tissue below to grow. If blisters are present, do not burst them.

Bandages - though not always necessary, will protect the wound from potentially infectious germs and the sun, and are reccomended if the wound is in a particularily vulnerable area. Supplies can be purchased at your local pharmacy or grocery store. Apply a sterile guaze pad to the freshly cleaned area, and secure with medical tape, tensor bandages or a guaze wrap. Bandages should be changed twice a day, and the burn should be well cleaned before application.

Ointments - using an ointment or cream after cleaning your burn, and before applying a bandage, will help stop alot of the itching associated with burns, as well as prevent the bandage from embedding itself into your healing skin and promote faster healing time with minimal scarring. Johnson & Johnson makes an excellent burn cream, but gentle lotions (like Nivea), vitamin E creams, aloe gels and other such products will also work well.

Lifestyle - getting plenty of sleep and eating a healthy diet that consists of fruits, vegetables and proteins will encourage rapid healing by fueling the body with the nutrients and minerals it needs to heal.

What to look out for
---------------------

Infection - if at any point you develop a high fever, an considerable change in the pain or sensitivity of the wound (a sharp increase in pain or sudden numbness), thick yellow or greenish discharge (a clear watery type discharge is alright, however, it is called weeping, and is a normal part of the healing process), you may be developping an infection. See a doctor immediately.

I had such plans for this also, but if reposted finished it wouldn't have the same effect.

nope, thanks though. I have no talent for it. I do have some good friends that are fantastic at it though. He doesn't keep anything even in his music and it fades in the wrong points. I am not an expert, I just really really did not like it and heard some basic flaws. No, I don't think I could do better, but I wouldn't publish it at the level he has it.. maybe just a poor shot at the recording, probably does it right all the time /shrug

Answer this you retarded fuck (Dwarkarn). Show me more then two threads not dealing with ith the same issue that I jumped on that Vaalik posted on.

Lets see. There was the one he decided to tattle to someone's father about his religious views, then said if his father didn't deal with him he was going to the father's church elder's. I happened to show this little bitch it's just as easy to get RL information and go either way. He didn't like that and made up some bullshit hacking story and had logs of me browsing his site. Oh nos.

And, well this. Yet I hardly call this a hi-jack, just a warning to people. Did I sling shit and tell everyone how immature Vaalik really is? Did I link to some of his bullshit? That's right you fucking wanna be. Get back to your pathetic life of a drunkard. Maybe some day you'll wise up and see how much of an empty void you are.

Maeel, you can still suck a mean dick. Smooches.

That's pretty clever Ariochx, to bad it's way over dilluted. Here's the original if anyone wants to read it. http://experts.about.com/q/1441/1484305.htm

As for Araya's music. Yeah it sucks, but he/she/it is making it, so you all can fuck off unless you can even attempt to do better.

LOL Dwark. Truth is he sucked in bed so his wife wanted to fuck other people after he got married. He had some really fucked up times with that, then transferred to Iowa and tried to piss off the wrong guy, he fucked up and If I didn't have a heart I wouldn't have just gone to his NCO, I would have taken it a lot further. But he lives in an imaginary world where everything is under his control because he can't handle what is real.
/shrug
I'll still keep ignoring him, but hey, he wants the truth out there, there it is.

Actually you are wrong on all accounts there Vaalik.

Everything regarding you is under my control. My NCO? Wrong, I reported directly to the CO. I was an NCO. Being in the Navy yourself you seem to know jack and shit; or was that a lie, too?

I'm still waiting for the truth. Let's see what kind of digging around I can do about your past. Or maybe if I can't find anything I'll pull a Vaalik and make it up!

Dwork, hardly. You did not make me reply ever, I choose to do what I want. You say something to me, I say something to you. I want to be cool like you, you posted about me, you got Cerdenized!

Hate to say this, Cerden, but when someone says something and you feel the need to say something back... That's a cause and effect. That is what makes you want to post. They are making you post, even though you chose to do it. I said the same to Xerion right before he poofed from existance after claiming to be the God that controlled us all here... or something. O.o
