only a small minority of players attain Level 65 power and own castles; most remain quite poor
Where the F is my castle?

A few months ago, a powerful warrior showed up on EverQuest. He was at Level 50, an indication that he was an experienced player. But when he tried to join a group of other similarly powerful players on a quest to kill a dragon, they quickly realized he had no idea what the hell he was doing. He didn't understand teamwork or even the basic language of the game. Then they discovered his secret: he was a thirteen-year-old kid whose parents had gone to PlayerAuctions.com and bought him the character for $500.

"He kept getting killed over and over and over again. People were like, Who is this idiot?"
HAH!!! and who would pay $500 for a level 50?

I thought that I had a lot of minions, but they turned out to be mini-onions. Delicious, but quite unable to build me a castle.

/burp

/auction WTB more mini-onions

In other words, maybe the best way to save the real world is to make it more like EverQuest.
LOL, as long as there isn't a external e-bay like entity to alter this apparent equality.

Wow the person responsible for that article is a fucking dumbass. It's called "do-a-little-more-research-on-what-it-is-you-are-writing-about".

319 an hour, and how it translates for a Cleric

1. 1x cast of HoV = 21pp
2. Recasting HoV cause the monk pulled while casting HoV ad you didnt heal in time = 10.5pp
3. Casting Kazad because the druid's just ran out and he doesnt want Virtue = 10.5pp
4. Another recast bnecause someone pulled too much aggro = 10.5pp
5. 2x new group members arrive during the hour = 21pp
6. Buying more mini-onions = 200pp
7. Paying Lurkerr for Hawt Cyb0rz = 500pp

So you can see that the average EQ Cleric is losing that amout of money every hour.

Thier research is flawed.

110(days)*24 = 2640*319 = 842160pp

I'd say 319pp an hour isn't so bad... I don't think I made that much total money in the 110 days i played
