Default Question

What do you all think are the prospects of Ronald Reagan Jr. ever running for President or some major office? And does anyone think he could garner support? I am aware of his political bent, but with the past week and realizing as he eulogized his father how much of a presence he really commands when he speaks it is something that caught my thought process.

I think that he will ultimately end up as the pundit host of his own political talk show.

How untrue.
Jr. is very political and at present is an analyst. He has a very acute understanding of politics that honestly seems to transcend a lot of other's views. He also is a liberal son of a conservative president but he has an almost untouchable persona.

I think he has just as good a chance as anyone to run for president, if not better. The fact that he is the son of a wonderful president, may even give him a better shot of being elected, if he even runs. Who's to say that it wouldn't happen in the near future? Maybe he will want to kick Kerry out of office (GOD FORBID HE WINS, that is) and do something right for a change, unlike the last few pres's we have had.

He is in his 40s and has a bit of media exposure from being a political analyst. He also doesn't seem to ruffle any feathers. He more liberal than his father and has an incredible amount of personal integrity which renders him safer than other politicians. In my opinion he commands more attention than any other analyst on TV because he mixes humor very easily in his analysis. He also is very fair and unbiased. In some respects I wonder if he is considering a career in politics.
As far as being gay, he was at one time a ballet dancer, but growing up in a family of entertainers is a different world than you and I are used to. That doesn't mean he is gay. It didn't appear that he was gay by the woman he was hand in hand with at his father's funeral.

Bah Bumble, didn't you know? A male ballet dancer automatically indicates homosexuality!
/sarcasm off

In all reality, should that day come, and he portrays honest and decent characteristics, I would vote for him.
