Default Graffiti

Today, Ottawa city announced that the reason we are seeing more instances of graffiti in the city are.

and this is truly amazing, no.. really it is....

The reason is. GLOBAL WARMING!

yes sirs and miss's! Global warming is being blamed for more instances of wall paint.

yes follow this logic. "since we are having shorter winters and longer summers the kids are painting more"

This logic was passed along with the excuse. completely ignored the fact that this summer in Ottawa is one of the coldest ive seen and last winter had the second more snowfall EVER on record. June alone had 22 days of rain.

I seriously want a law that states that any politician speaking out loud to the public says anything unbelievably stupid is Automatically fired on the spot.

Maybe I can blame the graffiti in my classroom to global warming.

Ummm it's actually been a warm summer if you take into account that due to the cloud cover we've had, it hasn't cooled down all that much at night(except the past week or so).

I haven't checked the news today so haven't seen that tidbit about the graffiti but that sounds like a lot of shit.

Come down to Orlando. Our humidity this time of year is famous. It hits you in the face when you get off the plane.

I'm not kidding, it smacks you in the face with a ball bat and mugs you.

We don't mess with it down here, we go to Cocoa or something, best not to provoke it.

Paf isnt kidding. Step out of your car in Orlando in the summer and you get instant batwings. Even if you are a chick.

I'd put Dallas up to the challenge, and you got nothing on Houston or New Orleans...

im sure ive said this before. Ottawa has the largest range of temp of pretty much any city on the planet.

in Celsius in winter it has been recorded as low as minus 40 without windchill. In summer as high as 37 without humidex.

thats a staggering 77 degree range.

You sure you don't live in ND? temps of 45 below to over 100 degrees F.

Ottawas record low from what i see was 36 below C just a little over not sure what that is F.

Hottest day in ottawa almost 38 celcius...... not sure where this is in relation to F either, I know the algebraic equation just not gonna do it lol.

For those numbes (online converters FTW)

-36 C = -32.8 F

38 C = 100.4 F

I've been to Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston in the summer months. And I've seen the length of the Gulf Coast in June and July. I've been all those places.

Believe me when I say it, pretty much anywhere in Florida has anywhere in Texas beat hands down on the humidity index.

We're a peninsula, fer chrissakes, we're surrounded by water.

I remember August in Orlando being a bit hot even compared to Houston.

Although the past few days (with a bit of rain & thunderstorms from Hurricane Dolly, which is way to the south), it's tough to imagine a place more humid. Even with the temperature having dropped to the mid 80s (due to the hurricane), it was still like a steam room. Today is looking sunny and warmer - not sure if the humidity will lessen.

I am wierd I guess... I prefer a humid heat... I went to Cancun last year in July and it was about 105 with 90% humidity... and it was far nicer there than here in Phoenix at 120 with 20% humidity.

Never understimate the staggering drawing power of Arizona in summer.
