Default Looking for a Suikoden Series Veteran to gab the shit with.

I'm a huge suikoden fan. It's kind of scary, really. Just looking for a person or two who I can talk to about the game.

Fun Stuff.

Drop me a line

I liked the first one but i really felt that it needed more story, I mean here you have 100+ characters and more then 80% of them are boring and useless.

The second one was ALOT better but still had some problems. Love the series but still needs some work to perfect.

My roomate flunked out of art school because of that game. That being said, I never got to play it. But it was fun to watch.

I have the first and third one.

Third one has a decent story, I was playing it till a couple weeks ago, got tied up with junk. Then warcraft 3 found its way to my computer, so I've been a bit slow to return to it.

The third one is completely brilliant and nostalgic. I'm not going to ruin anything for you, even my sig picture isn't a spoiler, so don't worry about it. But I'd recommend reading the script of the two text based suikoden's (Suikogaiden 1 and 2) on Suikosource (not sure of the exact URL, search google or something).. They were two games that took place around the time of the 2nd game, they were completely in japanese and never translated because Americans tend to avoid completely text games. So it'd be a money waste.

The closest to getting the story however is a moderately translated guide to how the story goes in those games, on that website.

Anyway, I strongly recommend the series to anyone interested in an RPG of political/fantasy/GOODvsEVIL nature.

I never played but remmber going from store to store with a friend and asking them about it and getting the response "I've never heard of it". Some stores had posters for it but never even ordered any. He almost went insane trying to find it.

Wow this sounds just like EQ, thousands of players and 80% are boring and useless

I loved Suikoden 1 and 2, both were amazing games. I wish I had a PS2 for Suikoden 3, but I be poor. Spending all my spending cash on other crap atm.

rely on japanese console RPG's to bridge any gap!

and Fadien, if I didnt own a PS2 I'd buy one for suikoden ! hell I bought a Dreamcast for PSO, er shame it didnt really live up to its predecessors and a EQ addiction (tm) didnt let go of me long enough to play much !
