From a raiding perspective, LDoN is right up there though... but I loved the shit out of LDoN for the group aspect.

The two I liked the least were Luclin (space travel of any sort ruins the magic and I always associate it more with sci-fi) and Gates of Discord, although I did like some of the group trials. Tipt was a pretty reliable source of AAs since everyone kept begging me to go. Both expansions had more than their share of magic-resistant MOBs, which I hated more than anything since I played an enchanter.

I never had much fun with GoD, I tried it from release. Strange thing, I never felt comfortable with time spent in GoD. There was a peculiar lack of server interest in just hanging there to find content. Stonebrunt Mts, the Hole and the Warrens were better and all free - I think.
LoY was a fairly limited expansion too. No doubt about that. For me no experience can match the splendid isolation of exploring Kunark. No matter what faction or race played, mob aggro was white knuckle stuff and terrain there either is very hilly, rocky and uneven, or tree-covered (sometimes all three) so you didn't know what was in store. |

GoD became interesting 2 expansions after the fact. When it was new it blew monkey balls.

Wasn't LoY the expansion that gave us more bank space? And armor dyes?
Those were probably the only good things out of that expansion. |

I don't think they even really considered it a full expansion. Didn't they refer to it as an "extension?"
