That video is awesome. I got to watch it at home, but I'm trying to show it to the guys at work and all of the places that it is available are blocked here. I wonder if someone could zip it up and host it so I could show it to the people at work

If you watch PBS, they have had the documentary on the design of Spirit and Opportunity, to the building of the project, to the launch of the project, to the landing of the project.

On Tuesday they will have a conclusion to the documentary with panoramic pictures (the first ever in full color) from Spirit which has landed on Jan 3rd.(more than likely will internet accesible as well)

Im sure Discovery Channel will soon follow, but it seems PBS started airing this documentary the moment Spirit landed.

This video reminded me of a game I played many moons ago. Outpost, published by microsoft I believe. In fact the opening sequence of the video resembles the mission start video of the game.

Heh, Outpost was the shit. I spent many many many hours playing that game. I tried Outpost 2 but it wasn't quite the same. If we are talking about the same game, it was Sierra who made it. The launch disk says it is for win3.1, I wonder if it will play on my new system lol.

I just dug Outpost out of my crawl space o' junk. Installed and running under XP with no problems so far. The sound is a little hinky, but it always was for me.

Some of the classic games are still the best. I found Jagged Alliance and Warcraft 1 while I was sifting through the dust. I can't wait to give them a go again.
