Ok, I played DAoC when it first came out and liked it a lot but ended up returning to EQ because I missed my guild.
Now my guild is breaking up and I"m thinking about returning to DAoC but I'm facing a few issues.
Shadowblades still do not have their spells in game. WTF?
Theurgists still do not have Earth Based Seige Spells. WTF?
And I really enjoy my SK twink in EQ but can't find a class even close to that in DAoC. ANy suggestions?

Basicely any of you who have kept up with DAoC can you tell me what is going on with some of these unfinished classes? I don't want to buy the game again (gave first copy to a friend) only to find out they still haven't come close to completing the damn thing.

There are a decent chunk of powerful 'finished' classes out there.

If you want the sort of spellcasting tank / hybrid feel of the ShadowKnight, the Thane or Skald might do it for you, both are quite ballsy. (Although none of the classes really capture the evil feel of a Shadow Knight or Necromancer.)

If you want to try Albion, maybe a smite-Cleric could give a fighting / caster sort of feel. Paladins are a trifly dull, IMO, and don't even touch Friars with a 10 ft pole. They ain't done yet.

For Hibernia, there really isn't a satisfying caster-tank combination. A Celtic Champion is close, but a thousand times less FUN than a Thane or Skald.

And so I became a ...Hunter, lol.
Thank the gods I returned to DAoC. It beats the crap out of EQ with a giant spiked baseball bat.
